What We Can All Learn From Thewizardliz…

Shocker is an understatement. I think it’s safe to say the whole wizardliz community was dumbfounded by that one Youtube Community post (several now depending on when you read this).

Not only did the fearless leader to more than 8 million subscribers get cheated on by her husband, but she is also 4 months pregnant. Don’t get me wrong, pregnancy is a gift from God no matter the circumstance (despite popular opinion), but this situation was probably not on her bingo card.

While some of the community has immediately started bashing Landon, some are starting think pieces on if Liz isn’t safe from cheating, then who is? The same conversation happened when news of Beyoncé and Natalie Portman’s husband’s infidelity broke. It was a shocker, but not to hard to believe.

The thing is, we put people with millions of dollars and followers so high up on a pedestal that we forget they are human. They go through the same struggles as us. We are just shocked when we see it in real time.

Luckily, Liz is taking her own advice and leaving her husband that cheated. So what can we learn from this? Liz is putting action behind her words and taking her own advice, practicing what she preaches. This means Liz is exactly who she says she is. This is admirable! This is also something that many people struggle with (you and me too). Resilience is what we can learn here. How quickly can we pivot and/or bounce back from disappointment that we do not expect. When life throws us a curveball, will we fall and never get back up? Or will we eventually stand tall, ten toes down, even if our bodies are aching from the pain? Liz seems like she is doing the latter, and by replaying a few of her YT videos, she will see that her blessings are on the way!
