Deion Sanders was gold in the 1990’s for the Dallas Cowboys, even winning a SuperBowl with the team and Jerry Jones. More than 30 years later, Deion Sanders is now known as Coach Prime and Jerry Jones wants to strike gold again.
Hall of Famer and SuperBowl champion Coach Prime has led the Colorado Buffaloes since 2022 and is currently in his third year in a 5 year contract. Coach Prime has made headlines for how he managed to bring the Buffaloes into the spotlight, especially while coaching his sons Shadeur (Buffaloes QB) and Shilo Sanders (Safety).
Now its a matter of how Jerry Jones can convince Coach Prime to come back to the Dallas Cowboys. It would be an understatement to say that money would be an issue for Jerry Jones. The Dallas Cowboys are America’s team with a value of over 10 billion dollars (valued more than any other team in the NFL).
With money off the table, another thought would be how could Shilor and Shadeur fit into the equation? Simple, for the past 4 years, Coach Primes sons followed him wherever he went, so his contract should include his sons coming to Dallas as well. So, whats left to think about?
Can both personalities fit under one roof? Its a tough question to answer. Jerry Jones is the most respected GM in the NFL past or present. Its tough to say that someone in the room could be bigger than him, unless Coach Prime is in the mix. If they can figure out there egos, then Jerry Jones and Coach Prime might strike gold again like they did in the 90s, but this time on a larger scale.
